Manager – IT Projects and Innovation 2023-08-28

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans and timelines, and manage project scope, budget, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for users during the implementation of the technology across the company businesses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to design, develop, and deliver custom solutions that meet business needs
  • Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met, and issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion with existing customers and develop strategies to pursue those opportunities
  • Technology Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a technology roadmap that supports operational goals. Identify technology solutions, systems, and tools that can improve customer engagement, optimize processes, and enhance the overall shopping experience. Ensure effective execution of technology projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Operational Efficiency Enhancement: Identify areas within our assets operations where technology can drive efficiency. Evaluate existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and integration. Implement technology solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve productivity across our asset, such as security, maintenance, and cleaning
  • Training and Change Management: Facilitate training programs and workshops to ensure asset teams are equipped with the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology tools and systems. Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes across the portfolio. Provide ongoing support, guidance, and troubleshooting to address operational challenges related to technology implementation
  • Vendor Management and Partnerships: Evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers that align with the shopping Centre’s operational needs. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful implementation and integration of technology solutions

Job Requirements:

  • A degree holder or above or equivalent relevant qualifications 
  • At least 5 years of relevant IT projects experience
  • Experience on Information technology projects for example infrastructure, cyber security, application and enterprise data and platform projects
  • End to end project management lifecycle experience from business case development to implementation
  • Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills to management and stakeholders
  • Experience in hotel operation, Pre-opening and post opening project management experience is desirable
  • Experience with hospitality industrial technologies, including PMS, POS, HSIA etc
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
