· Welcome guests in a warm and courteous manner.
· Receive orders and serve guest/s needs in a timely manner and efficiently in line with the department’s standards.
· Ensure that your service area is ready for service (clean, tidy) and that mise-en-place is in order.
· Ensure good product knowledge of the F&B menus and standards
· Ensure that the departmental menus are clean and up-to date
· To participate in cross-training to ensure you are able to work within any section within the F&B department.
· Be fully conversant with all the F&B Department procedures
· To promote the hotel’s facilities and to upsell at every opportunity
· Efficiently manage and ensure that all F&B equipment is polished and stored correctly as per the department’s standards
· To ensure the correct settlement of all customer accounts/bills
· To set up the department’s outlets (restaurant, bar and meeting rooms) as per the department’s standards
· Maintain cleanliness within your areas of responsibility throughout the day
· Ensure that you attend all relevant departmental briefings and meetings.
