Front Office Supervisor 2022-12-09

We are looking to fill the position of Front Office Supervisor at Dorsett City London to join our Front Office Team. You must be an enthusiastic and pro-active individual who enjoys varied responsibilities with a positive approach to lead from the front, ensuring to get the best from our team. You will be detailed orientated, motivated, and driven to go above and beyond and deliver a warm and welcoming guest experience. Your grooming standard should be immaculate and communication skills exceptional. The successful candidate must be efficient and hospitable service orientated to our guests and exceeding their expectations. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment then this is the place for you.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of guest service in constantly maintained and in line with department Procedures
  • Ensure outstanding customer care at all times and that our guests receive a fast, efficient and friendly check-in and check-out
  • Ensure that all customer queries or requests are handled in a polite and efficient manner
  • Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanour at all times.
  • Be proactive in solving guest issues, take ownership and use empowerment guidelines
  • To attend appropriate training courses as and when required
  • Work at all times within HR Best practice and the 4 Core values, compliance with Dorsett Brand standards
  • Be fully conversant with all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform the daily duties
  • Be fully aware of the front of house equipment and the property management systems
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area and know what is happening in the hotel on a daily basis
  • Attend all Front Office meetings
  • Be fully aware of the correct procedures regarding currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
  • Be fully conversant with all facilities and services provided within the hotel for up-selling and promoting when the opportunities arise
  • Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel to maximise room sales and revenue for the hotel
  • Carry out all reasonable tasks as designated by the Head Of Department
  • Ensure reception administration is completed with detail and paper work is accurate before finishing your shift
  • Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guests’ preferences and special requests.
  • Build strong relationships and liaise with all other departments in an efficient and friendly manner

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Opera PMS Systems
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Eager to learn
  • Flexible with working shift pattern requirements
