We are looking for an enthusiastic and unique individual with solid food preparation experience in the 4* market preferably gained in London. The successful candidate, is likely to be in similar positions, with a track record in similar sized hotels and with a passion to be part of this exciting team of professionals.
Dorsett Shepherds Bush, is a listed building with 317 rooms, 2 restaurants, a Spa, 3 meeting rooms and an executive lounge. The hotel opened its doors in June 2014 and over the last year gained the reputation of delivering excellent guest experiences in a beautiful hotel with comfortable and well appointed rooms.
As part of our kitchen team you will be responsible for supporting the Executive/ Sous Chef in managing all aspects of the Kitchen Department.
The role involves the following (however not limited to):
·Ensure all food is served to the required company standard
·Aid the Executive/ Sous Chef in implementing all new menus
·Ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation
·Strive and anticipate customer needs wherever possible, and to react to these to enhance customer satisfaction
·Ensure that is correctly dressed and adheres to high personal hygiene standards
·Demonstrate an understanding of the need to control operating costs and energy conservation to the hotel and company standards.
·Maintain a best practice philosophy with regards to communication and development of associates
