Associate Director of Internal Control 2023-05-08

Job Responsibilities:

• Enhance effectiveness of enterprise-wise risk management, internal control and compliance processes. Review company's policies and procedures and internal control framework (including ESG and legal compliance) to identify key deficiencies and risk areas
• Plan and execute operational, business, financial and accounting review programs
• Prepare reports for review findings and make recommendations for presentation to the CEO, CFO and senior management team
• Drive and monitor the progress of implementation of group policies and procedures and other operational practices
• Participate in critical business and technology initiatives and projects to ensure that appropriate controls are designed and implemented
• Liaise with regional and operational departments on controversial issues and significant risks, and drive the remedial result of the identified issues
• Coordinate organization risk management programs in terms of risk assessment, management and control monitoring and ongoing staff training
• Build a new cross region and cross function team reporting to CFO, and responsible for coaching and developing team members
• Perform ad hoc assignments assigned by senior management

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent disciplines
• Minimum 5 years' experience in related field
• HKICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CICPA or equivalent
• External and internal audit experience a must, multinational firms and Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred
• Hotel, Food & Beverage and/or real estate sector experience globally is a must
• Prior leadership and team building skills is a plus
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong language skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Frequent business travel is required to overseas offices
